Communication

Sometimes communication just turns to complete failure. Us humans know so little about it, and we’ve erred for centuries, and we’ll err for many more, as we fail to understand the basic concept of evolution of communication, and instead of searching for progress, we take one step backward each day.

I’ts quite frustrating, when I try to have a simple discussion as a matter so simple as movies, but emotions always involve themselves in the oddest of ways, creating mishaps amongst the word flow diverting common sense. It all ends up getting confusing; jumbled-up hype is what seems a proper way to call it.

So then this question arose: What could we do to make communication more efficient, and somewhat distance emotions when discussions or critical topics take place? How can we notice when one of these events is emerging, and how can we control our emotions?

Being Rich

You don’t have to be rich to live like a king.

Four things are needed: Being positive, helping, spending wisely, and saving. Things keep getting cheaper every time, specially gadgets and tech-related things. The most important factor is learning how to invest. This is related to everything, property, domestic appliances, schools, accessories, gadgets, computers, televisions, movies, subscriptions, services, everything you can imagine!

Point #1: Before spending on something, double-check if it is really something you need or would like, if it is, something expensive is not always the best. I once bought a top quality, dual-alarm, ipod/usb digital alarm clock which failed in the first 4 months, and the warranty would not be accepted outside of the USA. It was a stupid purchase, and I failed to do a detailed revision before buying it.

Point #2: If you are working, do a spreadsheet involving how much you earn, what you are aiming to buy and how much it costs, and then separate how much you need to save up during how much time to buy it. It’s really easy, and really effective! Then as the money comes in, separate it into different boxes, or your bank account, but keep track of how much you have saved for each thing on your “to buy” list.

Forget about credit. Most of the economy’s problems are due to credit “situations”, mortgages,  not earning enough to pay “the card”, and the similar. Saving and then buying is always the best strategy, so next time you think about charging something to your credit card… think twice! It’s probably best to get rid of the credit card and use debit only anyway.

Are there any limits on our freedom of expression?

Some goverments say we are free to do as we please, within acceptable limits, enforced by police, military and other special units. Some goverments restrict our freedom sometimes to an unacceptable level, in which even dress code, rights, morale, religion and everything is strictly controlled. But where do our rights start and begin?

I have read and been told uncountable times that our rights end where another being’s begin. Technically if we followed that politic, we would find ourselves unable to kill another animal, shout or insult another individual when this might derive a psychological impact on that person, etc.

There have been many attempts at trying to control behaviour, expression and communication via the implementation of laws of all kinds and flavors. In an attempt to be ever changing, ever progressing beings we have tried to become sistematic beings following law codes established by those believed to be “superior” or hold administrative positions, in companies, in courtrooms, in the goverment, etc.

Nothingness

Nothingness

Personally, I think life in the end is a constant battle between what we are told to do, and what we want to do. A battle for equillibrium. Sometimes a hard one for those who really want to express themselves freely and push their supposed limits.

Deeply

Deeply sorry for my absence lately, I’ll be back up and bloggin’ again shortly. I’m readying a few interesting programming tutorials which I will be uploading as soon as possible.
