We’ve had plenty of grey days lately which can get quite depressing… But it was well worth the wait after all:

This was taken yesterday, the 30th of January, on my way to the beach just east of Edinburgh. The Portobello beach. Portobello is a beautiful place, I love the town centre, and overall the day was incredible. I took this picture from the double decker, just a few minutes before my stop. Curious little garden gnomes.

So I went to the beach. It was a splendid day, however, really cold. For some reason the image of a beach in my mind sounded warmer, so I arrived to find myself utterly freezing… I took a few pictures before leaving though.

So this is back in town, just before night fall. I loved the actual scene even more, it’s just so beautiful seeing a nice sundown after days of just plain grey.
What was your week like?
I composed this song in about 30 minutes for one of my next albums. It is about a dream in which I walk for a long time. There are dreams where one falls, dreams where one speaks with important people, dreams where you are stuck, dreams of all kinds. This is a special kind of dream, one where you wander, maybe not searching for something, maybe only looking for yourself.

So this week I went on a visit to two different places. I went to Cumbernauld (again) on Friday and I went to Inshinnan (West Glasgow) a day ago. I didn’t really take a lot of pictures throughout the week so I didn’t have much to share. The photo above is just outside the Central Station in Glasgow City Centre. I took this on the way back from Inshinnan on bus service 23 of the “Arriva” route.

I found this building on Hope St. in central Glasgow, the same day as the previous photo was taken. I loved how the place looks, it really looks somewhat like a haunted mansion from an old low-budget Hollywood film.

The Railway Station at Falkirk Grahamston in Scotland. This was taken towards my trip to the village of Cumbernauld on Wednesday. Something about the colours and scenery caught my attention, which is what made me take this photograph.

This was taken looking upwards from inside the Antonine Shopping Centre, just next to O’Briens. The Cumbernauld Town Centre and Antonine Shopping Centre are linked. The whole city was planned 60 odd years ago based on a centralised structure. The town centre, banks, main shopping facilities, and most important places are in this complex building structure right in the heart of Cumbernauld. The rest of Cumbernauld is made of over/underpasses, roundabouts and satellite neighbourhoods.

This photo was taken yesterday, Saturday, in Espionage, a bar/club made up of 5 different bars (One on each level). Each one has it’s own music, decoration, lighting, and ambience. There was hardly any people yesterday which led to a slow/peaceful experience.
