More than a good concert; Muse in Monterrey

4 or 5 curtains of smoke shot up after the 6th song, glorious riffs, jaw dropping solos, smooth heavy distorted and delirious bridges between songs weaved with the unique voice of Matthew Bellamy. That’s my description of the experience that was lived yesterday in the Arena in Monterrey, NL, Mexico.

What a night indeed, and I must add that there was quite a crowd. In a place that seats up to 17,500 people, I can surely say that about 50-70% was occupied. That’s about than 10,000 people. Great show, great event, great music, nothing more to say.

Apparently the set list was the following:

1. Dead Star
2. New Born
3. Supermassive Black Hole
4. Map of the Problematique
5. Butterflies and Hurricanes
6. Sunburn
7. Feeling Good
8. Space Dementia
9. (Bass Jam)
10. Invincible
11. Starlight
12. Hysteria
13. Time Is Running Out
14. Stockholm Syndrome

15. Take a Bow
16. Plug in Baby
17. Knights of Cydonia

Hello World

I’m going to try and write regularly about stuff that comes to my head, lyrics, maybe a few poems once in a while, political thoughts, food for the brain, and whatever else comes to me. Not because I think I’m an interesting person or anything, but because I think we all should have some place to express a few of our thoughts, it sometimes makes life more interesting 😉
